This brief presents the latest insights Upinion gathered from its communities affected by the Israeli attacks in Lebanon causing unprecedented civilian deaths, and leading to mass displacement and nationwide insecurity.
Between the 3rd of October and now, Upinion conducted two discussions aimed at monitoring displacement status, including movements at the Syria-Lebanon border, as well as sharing different types of information and identifying informational needs.
Our qualitative data, gathered from a diverse group of participants, reveals emerging trends that can inform future actions for formal and informal actors alike.
While our two-way communication platform allowed us to provide continuous and verified information, we were also able to assess what information should be prioritized in future communications for specific target groups (e.g. per region, displacement status, living conditions, etc…).
